Introducing Freedom of Enough : Official Trailer
Ambitious women, do you believe you’re already enough?
What if you didn’t have to accomplish more, look a certain way, be the perfect mom, or keep up with everyone else to feel worthy?
For so long, I thought having it all meant doing it all. But somewhere along the way, I got so busy chasing every version of success that I barely had time to enjoy the life I had built.
Welcome to Freedom of Enough.
A podcast for ambitious women ready to break free from comparison, perfectionism, and the pressure to constantly prove their worth.
Through honest conversations and personal stories, we’ll explore motherhood, ambition, identity, appearance, gratitude, relationships, and what it means to find joy in the lives we’re living.
Because finding freedom in enough doesn’t mean giving up your dreams or settling for less.
You can want more while believing you are already enough.
But hearing that you’re enough and actually believing it are two different things.
That’s what this podcast is about: moving from hearing those words to believing them, and learning to live like they’re true.
The world will gladly ask for more.
More of your time. More of your energy. More accomplishments. More perfection.
But you get to decide what’s enough.
Because you’ve done enough, you have enough, and you are enough.
Listen to Freedom of Enough and join the conversation.

Have you ever felt like no matter how much you accomplish, it's never quite enough? Maybe you have built a career you're proud of. Maybe you're raising a family. Maybe you have checked every box you thought will finally make you feel successful. And yet, there is this quiet voice asking, what's next? Or maybe an even deeper question.

Why doesn't this feel the way I thought it would? I am Kim Patten. For years, I measured my life the way so many of us do. By what I accomplished, by how productive I was, by whether I felt like I was getting ahead. I love my career. Then I quit my job to become a stay-at-home mom. And well,

Everyone around me saw those as two completely different lives. I realized I was carrying the exact same question into both of them. Am I enough? This question followed me whether I was earning a paycheck or packing lunches, whether I was leading meetings or folding laundries, because the problem was never my career. And it wasn't motherhood neither.

The problem was believing my worth had to be earned. That's why I created the Freedom of a Nut podcast. This show is for ambitious women who are tired of measuring their worth by their productivity, paycheck, title, perfect parenting, or everyone else's definition of success. We will have honest conversation about ambition, motherhood, identity.

Career, purpose, comparison, changing priorities, and what it really means to create a life that feels successful, not just one that looks successful from the outside. This is not about giving up our ambition. I believe ambition is part of what makes us special. But I also believe our ambition was never meant to carry the weight of our identity.

We do not have to earn our worth through promotions, or productivity, or perfect parenting, or having the perfect clean house, or keeping up with everyone else's highlight reel. Because our worth has never depended on any of those things, we are already enough, we have already done enough, and we may already have more than we realize. As I often remind myself,

If we do not define our own finish lines, the world will gladly define them for us. And that is never going to be enough. Eventually, we can spend our whole lives chasing finish line that were never ours to begin with. It is time to stop building rocket to space and start living in the world we have already built. The Freedom of a Nub podcast launches on Tuesday, September 8th.
